'TIL THERE WAS YOU Jeanne Tripplehorn, Dylan McDermott, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Aniston (1997, Paramount, PG-13, $101.99) In this too, too precious romance, Tripplehorn and McDermott play a made-for-each-other couple who take 20-odd years to fall in love at first sight -- even though they're never more than one degree of separation apart. In the interim, they endure romantic mismatches that, with the exception of the radiantly narcissistic Parker as a prima donna former child star, should have been a whole lot more amusing than they are. Delaying the inevitable at such contrived length will sorely tempt home viewers to fast-forward to the fateful moment. Even if you do, though, it's anticlimactic. C-
