At its most musical, guitarist Alex Lifeson's new side project mimics the nimble time changes and high-register screeching of his day-job band, Rush. At its funniest, it has his wife kvetching about his leaving the toilet seat up. But mostly it's just hefty jazz-fusion grunge with show-offy guitar interludes, thick-necked funk bass lines, and lyrics that try way too hard to be disturbing.
