This elegy to Kurt Cobain might be heartfelt, but given the fact that half of For Squirrels died in a car accident last year, lyrics like ''get me to the morgue, I'm ready to be buried'' are more creepily prescient. While ''Mighty KC'' strives for an anthemic grandeur, For Squirrels' R.E.M.-ish rock comes off sounding merely generic.
