Continuing to prove there's life after Shane MacGowan's departure for a solo career, the Pogues deliver a second consistently entertaining album of their Celtic-meets-punk mix, Pogue Mahone. That's not to say MacGowan's not missed the songs sometimes sound formulaic but you can forgive almost anything when the results are as aggreably raucous as Pogue Mahone. B+
