Now solo, he specializes in mellow jazz instead of folk rock, but he still aches with teary emotion: ''Everything's beautiful except for you and me,'' he croons in ''Cleopatra Jones.'' On 60 Watt Silver Lining, Eitzel continues to prove grace can exist in even the deepest misery. B+
