With his soap-star good looks, supple voice (Don Henley without the sandpaper), and a couple of big hits behind him, 22-year-old Bryan White should have come out smoking on Between Now and Forever, his sophomore release. Instead he wastes his vocal cords on a slew of puppy-love ballads and creates sparks only when the tempo picks up. A musical Harlequin romance.
