FLIRTING WITH DISASTER (R) From the twisted mind of filmmaker David O. Russell comes an ingratiatingly antic ensemble comedy. Ben Stiller stars as Mel, a mildly neurotic guy raised by adoptive parents (Mary Tyler Moore and George Segal, a terrific Punch-and-Judy match) who sets out to find his biological parents. The top-drawer cast includes Patricia Arquette as Mel's wife, Tea Leoni as a deadpan social worker, and Lily Tomlin and Alan Alda as Mel's birth parents, still hippies after all these years. Flirting is a little too weighed down with stage business to soar. But episode for episode, it's one of the ha-ha-funniest movies currently around. B
