Music Review: 'Sacred Cow' (1996)

EW's GRADE
B

Details Lead Performance: Geggy Tah; Genre: Rock

With their second album Sacred Cow, Geggy Tah have produced another fine, goofunky mess, chockful of weird hooks and dance-feverish energy. Unlike Ween's wilier brew, Geggy Tah's blend of punk, funk, and prog-rock dares to be taken seriously, despite its comic-kinetic twists. The silliness is tempered by keen musicianship and closet tenderness. B
