Nancyboy cofounders Donovan Leitch and Jason Nesmith share at least one trait with their illustrious fathers (Donovan and the Monkees' Mike Nesmith, respectively) a predilection for derivative ear candy. The younger generation, with their tinny organ and whiny, pseudo-Brit vocals, aim to recall the glory days of '70s glam. But in the end, their Moog-and-mascara shtick is only a weak facsimile of '80s new wave. C+
