Urban Desires

While not as hip as it wants to be nor as sensuously satisfying as its name suggests, Urban Desires is one of the better Web magazines: Its eye-catching graphics, easy-to-follow organization, and wealth of content make it worth a browse. Desires' current number (2.1) features strong stuff in the style section (a conversation with handbag designer Kate Spade) and entertainment department (interviews with folk-popster Poe and French actress Emmanuelle Beart). But whose idea was it to interview Friends' Marcel the Monkey? In cyberspace, that's old news. B
