These cowboys from hell offer little variation on 1994's platinum Far Beyond Driven: more humorless lyrics, more of Dimebag Darrell's crushing V-8 guitars, and more of Philip Anselmo's Tasma-nian-devil-on-steroids vocals. The Great Southern Trendkill is a grim, but sometimes wickedly satisfying, ride.
