Wanted! The Outlaws (1996)
Waylon Jennings, Jessi Colter, Willie Nelson, Tompall Glaser
Credits
Lead Performances: Waylon Jennings, Jessi Colter, Willie Nelson and Tompall Glaser; Genre: Country/Bluegrass
--
Country never produced a platinum LP until 1976, when RCA took 11 previously released tracks, gave the mishmash a sexy name, and wham instant image! Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson became household names (even if Jessi Colter and Tompall Glaser faded). This 20th-anniversary package of Wanted! The Outlaws adds nine cuts understandably left off the original, but there's a smokin' new Waylon/Willie duet, ''Nowhere Road,'' on which the two rock harder than most stars half their age.
