Chicago's spritely power-pop foursome could use some Prozac on Blow It Out Your A-- It's Veruca Salt. The first two tracks of their four-song EP feature rolling, tormented guitars over throbbing drumbeats. The other two are stuporous songs about abuse and depression (''I'm going down and I don't know when/I'm coming up again''). It's Veruca Salt on an open wound. B
