In the Republican presidential hopeful's case, the page's creator, Daniel Burford, designed a series of frames that ends with Dole's exploding head exclaiming, ''Thank God we senators get free health care...'' A contest invites visitors to put their own sick spin on captions: ''Who says I don't have an open mind?'' is the winning quip concocted for splattered talk-show host Rush Limbaugh. The sheer perversity of Way of the Exploding Head is exhilarating. B+
