Since bursting onto the scene a decade ago, Gloria Estefan has done her part to introduce Latin American elements into the Yankee pop landscape. Her first album of original English-language music in five years, Destiny, is an innocuous affair, graced with Afro-Latin touches. From an ode to her baby daughter to the feel-goody ''Reach,'' official theme song of the '96 Olympics, it all goes down easily, seasoned by sounds of the other America. B-
