Publicly, this Columbus, Ohio, quartet deny being a punk band as vigorously as Green Day insist they don't play pop. Combine Gaunt's obviously superior attitude with Kryptonite's blend of impossibly catchy melodies, crunchy guitars, tighter-than-tight rhythm section, and harmonies the Go-Go's would envy, and it's clear who the true kings of punk-pop are.
