Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson gets a book deal

She may be estranged from the palace, but a royal sum is in store for freshly divorced Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, who, with the help of ICM rep Esther Newberg, has found a publisher for her memoirs. Simon & Schuster will pay $1.5 million, according to a company source. Though editor Michael Korda won't comment on the content of the book (due in late November), Fergie's style may be cramped by her confidentiality pact with the Windsors.
