Like her sister Nora, Delia Ephron has a habit of writing about herself, thinly disguised. In Hanging Up, her first novel, she examines her relationship with her manic, alcoholic screenwriter father and her sisters. Not told in a particularly original manner, but it does touch universal emotions. B
