''It'' girl du jour Jenny McCarthy kept a relatively low profile, at least until the Fourth of July weekend: no major magazine covers, talk-show visits, or tabloid mentions, bringing her relative pop-cultural visibility (which we've been charting this summer) down to near-mortal levels. She did, however, break into a new medium, releasing her first CD, Jenny McCarthy's Surfin' Safari, an anthology of classic beach tunes she personally selected. so now Jenny can provide a feast for the ears as well.
