In Philip Marlowe Private Eye, an involving animated adventure which puts a multimedia spin on Raymond Chandler's The Little Sister, you play the cynical and world-weary Marlowe, hired by an untrustworthy dame to track down her missing brother. Along the way you hear chunks of unmistakably Chandleresque dialogue (''Your grammar is almost as loose as your toupee''), voiced by unknown actors who've obviously seen The Big Sleep 10 or 12 times (even if Marlowe himself occasionally sounds like Duckman), and get tangled up in a plot as involving as any '40s film noir.
