THE BLACK CROWES Three Snakes and One Charm (American) In theory, the Crowes' Allman Brothers Band/Faces fusion is a fine idea. But while the fourth album from this Atlanta group is a big improvement over its predecessor, the amorphous Amorica, Three Snakes and One Charmstill feels half-baked. Maybe these pro-pot yokels should lay off the weed and concentrate on writing songs that smoke. B-
