Deaths Actor Greg Morris, 61, was found dead Aug. 27 in his home near Las Vegas. At press time the cause of death had yet to be determined. Best known as levelheaded gadget freak Barney Collier on TV's Mission: Impossible from 1966 to 1973, Morris was a popular small-screen journeyman who appeared on such shows as The Twilight Zone, The Love Boat, and Vega$. ''Greg was an exceedingly generous human being and a talented actor,'' says Morris' Mission costar Martin Landau. ''He will be greatly missed.''...

Stunt coordinator Mike Tamburro, believed to be in his 30s, in a helicopter accident in the Mojave Desert, Aug. 20. Tamburro was on location for a Black & Decker TV commercial when the AH-1 Apache helicopter he was in crashed. Two others were injured, including the pilot of the chopper. The spot was being directed by Michael Bay (The Rock) and produced by PolyGram's Propaganda Films....

Film composer Miles Goodman, 47, of a heart attack, Aug. 16, at St. John's Hospital and Medical Center in Santa Monica, Calif. A respected jazz producer, Goodman composed or orchestrated music for such movies as Being There, Footloose, and La Bamba....
Stage and screen actor Joe Seneca, said to be in his late 70s, of a heart attack, Aug. 15, at his home on Roosevelt Island, N.Y. The Cleveland native often portrayed wizened old-timers and sages with hearts of gold in plays like Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and in such films as Crossroads, Silverado, and, most recently, A Time to Kill.
