This game might be better named Die Hard With a Lobotomy, for while its animated rendering of the Bruce Willis flicks is 3-D, the gameplay is strictly one-dimensional. Sure, the Die Hard movies were plenty violent, but at least you and Willis' character, mayhem magnet John McClane had to think every now and then. Die Hard Trilogy accurately follows the plots of the movies you hunt down various bad guys with bad accents in an office building, in an airport, and on the streets of New York City. But it lacks the series' wit and ingenuity, not to mention voice-overs from any of the original actors. All brawn and no brain. C+
