Lead Performance: Neurotic Outsiders

Tossed together by minor figures from major bands (Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum of Guns N' Roses, Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols, John Taylor of Duran Duran), Neurotic Outsiders comes off as perfunctory but good-humored. Jones spoofs his aging-Pistol status, and the remake of the Clash's ''Janie Jones'' has a screwy impatience. The rest is mostly hard rock that's too straightforward but gratifyingly fast. B
