As the hands-down finest punk-pop band ever to come out of California, the Descendents have a lot to live up to with their first studio album with singer Milo Aukerman since he left eight years ago. And while Everything Sucks is miles ahead of anything the Milo-less Descendents released under the moniker All, it's still a turgid mess compared with the infectious, energized anthems the quartet produced in their Reagan-era heyday. Dare we say it? Everything does... C
