In this videogame-like sequel to Jurassic Park, arrogant paleontologist Richard Levine sets out to find a second dinosaur hatchery and gets trapped in Michael Crichton's The Lost World. His rescue party includes Jurassic alumnus Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum in the movie) and a couple of cute adolescent stowaways. There's a lack of freshness to the novel, but it's still a very scary read. B-
