EXPECTING
More Baldwins! Stephen Baldwin, 30, and his

FIGHTS
George Clooney's ''Stamp Out Stalkerazzi'' campaign
continues to draw supporters. Among the stars who have joined
his boycott of Entertainment Tonight which is really a protest
against the tactics of another Paramount show, Hard Copy are
Whoopi Goldberg, Steven Spielberg, Madonna, and, according to
Clooney, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. ''This [boycott] is a
weapon, and it's something I want everyone to pay attention to,''
says Clooney. The shows won't comment.
RECOVERING
As Clueless' Cher would have said, ''My bad.'' Bruce Broadmax, 64, reportedly was treated at a hospital for minor
injuries and released after being hit by a Ford Bronco driven by
Alicia Silverstone, 20, in L.A., Oct. 29. Police did not cite
the actress for a violation. Silverstone was unavailable for
comment ... Don Johnson, 46, broke his ankle Oct. 25 after
slipping on the porch of his San Francisco home. The writers of
his show, Nash Bridges, plan to incorporate the injury into
future episodes ... Frank Sinatra, 80, was admitted to L.A.'s
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Nov. 1, with a pinched nerve. ''Mr.
Sinatra has requested that we not provide any additional
information,'' says his spokeswoman.
DEATHS
French director Marcel Carné, 90, of undisclosed causes,
in Clamart, France. Carné was best known for Les Enfants du Paradis (1945), an intricate love story chosen as the best film
ever made in a 1971 poll of French critics. Even though Les Enfants was shot under German supervision, Carné created a
thinly disguised allegory about the French Resistance during the
Nazi occupation.
