The London trio Baby Fox's debut A Normal Family is a welcome shot in the arm to the trip-hop canon. Heavy-lidded but stopping short of the genre's all-too-common somnolence, they play real songs — groove-driven R&B, silkily intoned by vocalist Christine Ann Leach — instead of dub-saturated wallpaper.
