The songs on the four-CD set Souvenirs, 1955-69 set range from the banal (''A Nurse in the U.S. Army Corps'') to the timeless (''Together''), but Connie Francis' unique catch-in-the-throat voice, intonation, and gift for building performances make even the weaker numbers shine. It's a pity that the remastering is less than ideal on two of her best tracks, ''Who's Sorry Now?'' and ''Vacation.'' B+
