THE WAR AT HOME (R) A relentlessly depressing, stagy drama directed by Emilio Estevez, who plays a shell-shocked Vietnam vet returning home. The material doesn't resonate the way it did when the play debuted in 1984. But the agonized family dynamics are effectively awful. B-
