ENDLESS WINTER (1996, Orion, unrated, priced for rental) After more than 25 years as the ski-movie king, Warren Miller hasn't lost his enthusiasm for picking up a camera and shooting crazysexycool scenes of winter sports. Of course, in what Miller (who still writes and narrates but who's handed the producer poles to his son, Kurt) calls ''the old days, when I had hair,'' all he had to do was film dizzying sequences of manically schussing downhillers. Now he's added kids on snowboards. Endless Winter moves from Bolivia to Japan, catching heli-skiers in British Columbia, hotdoggers in Argentina, and Miller's trademark kids falling down on skis. After all this time, the formula still works -- it's refreshing, fun, inspiring. Call it a welcome whiteout from life. B+
