Remember the high-flying '80s, when nearly every year brought another fun, far-flung fantasy from overgrown wunderkinds George Lucas and Steven Spielberg? Since then, Spielberg's star has risen, while Lucas' career has been intermittently grounded by such losers as Howard the Duck. No matter, Lucas' past cinematic glories can't be denied — especially after a perusal of From Star Wars to Indiana Jones: The Best of the Lucas Film Archives, which is chock — full of absorbing production trivia, storyboard sequences, prototype models, and evocative concept illustrations relating to the creation of the Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogies. It's a highly entertaining peek into the mind of one of moviedom's master imaginers. Clearly, some people never grow up — and that's a good thing. A-
