At 6 p.m., the grips begin to strike the sets, and the actors straggle out into the hallway, dodging the Price Is Right prize cars. Lauralee wipes away the last of her tears as she walks slowly up the steps to her dressing room, where she will remove her character's doomed wedding dress for the last time. Another day, another drama.
