AIR HAVOC CONTROLLER (Trimark Interactive, CD-ROM for PC, $49.95) Keep your seat belt fastened at all times, because the havoc comes fast and furious in this top-notch flight-controller simulation. As chief of the tower, you are responsible for the takeoffs, landings, and fly-throughs of as many as 25 planes (try the ''Terror in the Tower'' segment for 20 minutes of an intense adrenaline surge). As the manual points out with a straight face, ''mid-air collisions are strictly prohibited by the FAA,'' but it's hard to resist lining up two planes at 12,000 feet, increasing their speed to 500 mph, and waiting for the disaster graphics to kick in. Havoc is loads of fun but sophisticated enough to keep you climbing back into the tower. A- -Ken Neville
