Too bad the two ^ Motown covers on this distrust-and-divorce concept disc don't come from Marvin Gaye's dark ode to failed relations, Here, My Dear. But songs like the abandoned-housewife lament ''Another Cup of Coffee'' aptly articulate middle- aged discontent, with keyboards sputtering like caffeine's kept them up all night.
