Those Mighty Ducks finally got benched, thanks to the similarly bungling tykes of Little Giants. After almost half a year as a top seller, the kiddie hockey comedy made way for the kiddie football comedy. Indeed, in its first week, Giants was anything but bungling, tackling the No. 7 spot on the sales top 10 and the No. 4 position on the rentals chart. Disney's Sing Along Songs: The Lion King-Circle of Life also scored, hitting the top 10 two months after its release-no doubt in anticipation of the real Lion King's March tape debut. As for new grown-up fare, the heavily hyped director's cut of Bruce Willis' sexy thriller Color of Night steamed into No. 6 on the rentals chart, while the laserdisc edition of John Woo's Hard Boiled blasted in at No. 8.
