Art-house babe Adrienne Shelly (The Unbelievable Truth, Trust) spends most of her screen time in Teresa's Tattoo sporting minimal black leather, a long, Lucy-red wig, and a serpentine tattoo across her chest. She shouldn't be embarrassed, though. This over-the-top gangster caper might be junk-with a loopy plot involving Feds, holograms, and hoods who look too young to shave-but director Julie Cypher knows it's junk, and to milk it, she piles on John Waters-worthy cameos from the likes of Tippi Hedren, Nanette Fabray, and k.d. lang.
