SPIRITUALIZED Pure Phase (Dedicated/Arista) On their second Stateside release, these British trance-rockers maintain the mesmerizing, mellow, fractal quality of 1992's Lazer Guided Melodies. Unfortunately, although the psychedelia created with exotic instruments like the dulcimer and the wha-monica is initially intriguing, the trio eventually gets lost in its own private trip. B-
