-- Dynamic duo: Oscar shutout Linda Fiorentino reunites with her Last Seduction director John Dahl in Unforgettable. Fiorentino is less fatale this time as a researcher helping coroner Ray Liotta solve his wife's murder. The thriller starts filming this month from a script by Dahl and brother Rick.
-- Little big play: Outbreak's Dustin Hoffman sinks his teeth into American Buffalo, David Mamet's breakout 1975 play. In the film version Hoffman leads a trio of lowlifes plotting a theft. Dennis Franz costars; Michael Corrente (Federal Hill) directs the Providence shoot in June.
-- All wet: With Hollywood's rage for raiding the tube (and Free Willy II on the way), it's no wonder TV's fave porpoise is leaping onto the big screen. Flipper, now prepping for a summer shoot, stars Paul Hogan as an ex-hippie fishing-boat captain.
