'LIVE' BAIT

Believe it or not, there are still a few SNL skits that haven't been strrretched into movies. Among our hoped-for favorites:

BUH-BYE, THE MOTION PICTURE: On the biggest jet ever, it takes 90 laugh-packed minutes and 1,042 ''buh-bye''s for nasal-toned David Spade's flight attendant to dispatch passengers. First-class comedy.

UNFROZEN CAVEMAN LAWYER: If he thinks our world frightens and confuses him, just wait till Phil Hartman's 100,000-year-old man joins a secretive, Southern, Mafia-linked firm.

TOONCES THE DRIVING CAT: Francis Ford Coppola, stop the casting calls! The perfect star for your adaptation of On the Road is this wacky feline. A little tequila, a little pot, and over the cliff he goes!
