Written and edited by Susan Bernard (Warner Treasures, $6.95 each) Before cross-training and breast augmentation became words to live by, there were Hollywood pinups, and judging by the va-va-va-voom photographs in these three pocket-size books, it's hard to argue things weren't all the lovelier before. Organizing the books by hair color is a clever marketing scheme: After all, who wouldn't rejoice in finding commonality with these dolls? Tresses aside, the fun is in paging through images that are funnier and more innocent -- and thus, sexier -- than anything produced today. A-
