BIOFORGE (Origin, CD-ROM for PC, about $60) This impossibly complicated, repulsively violent adventure will provide ample fodder for the Beavis and Butt-head crowd-I can imagine the exclamations of ''Cool!'' when the cyborg hero stoops to pick up a severed arm. But even 14-year-olds may quickly tire of the slo-mo combat sequences (which require you to memorize about a zillion keyboard combinations) and underwhelming graphics. Ultimately, the most impressive thing about Bioforge is its box, which, like a vintage 1970s Black Sabbath album, promises heavy-metal delights that the product itself can't possibly deliver.
