Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild (Atlantic) Red-blooded, meat-eating guitar slinger Nugent returns with his 27th (!) album, an intermittently bluesy and surprisingly listenable collection of songs about his favorite subjects: sex, hunting, and survival of the fittest. I know, I know-Nugent is the ultimate cartoon chauvinist (remember ''Wang Dang Sweet Poontang''?), but you've gotta admire the guy for sticking to his, uh, guns. B+ -TS
