But this doesn't automatically signal disaster. As Gary Bongiovanni, editor of the concert trade publication Pollstar, notes, it's all relative. ''In 1995 we don't have the stadium tours that generate huge dollars. Last year was far and away the biggest year in the history of the concert business [grossing $1.4 billion in ticket sales], so to compare ['95] to what preceded it is probably unfair.''
