John Grisham's new page-turner, The Rainmaker, is garnering glowing reviews from critics and readers seem to agree. In fact, the author's sixth thriller, about corruption in the insurance biz, debuts at No. 1 this week, selling a startling 300,000 copies in its first four days. ''As far as we know, it's the fastest-selling book ever,'' says a Doubleday spokesperson. The novel is in its first printing of 2.8 million copies.
