In this intriguing meditation on the fate of photography in the digital age, Pedro Meyer straddles two antithetical traditions: documentary realism on one side, electronic fakery on the other. The result can be a surrealistic image worthy of Magritte or a photo that feels real, even knowing it's a deceptive collage. Built around a show of Meyer's work, this bilingual (English/Spanish) disc shines when the photographer reveals the hows and whys of pictures.
