Kimberly will also survive. "Everybody always asks me, 'Are you dead?'" says Cross, whose character has come back from the grave before. "Someone told me I should do a commercial for 9 Lives cat food."
In fact, Cross will become a full-fledged Melrose Place cast member next fall, along with Kristin Davis, who plays devious D & D Advertising intern Brooke Armstrong. Davis figures in the Melrose finale's other big plotline, in which she traps Andrew Shue's none-too-bright Billy into marrying her.
Which brings us back to weddings. As you'll see in the next three pages, there will be plenty more new marriages this May, on series from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air to NYPD Blue. So break out your bridal gowns and cummerbunds. And don't forget a bulletproof vest.
