This week's top videos

When a movie debuts at No. 1 on both the sales and rentals charts, it's usually time to bust out the confetti. But for this week's double-whammy winner, there's probably no confetti left. Forrest Gump, which in the U.S. alone has pulled in $328.6 million so far at the box office, sold more than 5 million tapes during its first four days on video, according to industry sources. Though Gump's appearance atop the charts was no shocker, Terminal Velocity's opening bid was. The Charlie Sheen-Nastassja Kinski skydiving action flick soared to No. 3 on the rentals top 10, redeeming its earthbound $16.5 million theatrical take. But Tim Burton's Ed Wood still couldn't command respect; it plodded to No. 17 in its second week in stores.
