Everybody knows that you should never hit someone who's wearing glasses. And a close look at Terminal Velocity reveals that the makers of the high-flying action film followed that dictum. Sort of.
Five minutes into the movie, before stars Charlie Sheen or Nastassja Kinski even show up, a male ex-KGB agent and a female counterpart engage in some nasty hand-to-foot-to-hand combat. When he's first shown, he's wearing glasses. But when she kicks him in the face, he's not wearing them. In the next shot, his spectacles are on again. Then off again. Then on again. If anyone needed glasses on the set, it was the person in charge of continuity.
