Three new movies are in the works -- ''Mrs. Winterbourne,'' ''Ka-zaam,'' and ''The Great White Hype'' are discussed

Lake, Ontario:
Talk-show host Ricki Lake, taking a breather from blather, is shooting Mrs. Winterbourne in Toronto. The romantic comedy has Lake as a pregnant woman mistaken for a wealthy family's in-law. Shades of While You Were Sleeping? No, it's based on a 1948 novel, I Married a Dead Man, already twice made into films.

His debut movie, Blue Chips, may have dribbled away, but this August, Shaquille O'Neal returns with Kazaam, a comedy in which the Orlando Magic center plays a genie vexed by a stubborn boy.

Up for the count:
In The Great White Hype, Samuel L. Jackson will play a shady promoter who pushes a has-been boxer (Peter Berg) back into the ring. Reginald Hudlin (House Party) starts directing the Ron Shelton-scripted comedy next month.
